The Empire Theatre Studio, situated behind the main stage, is frequently utilized for intimate performances with a maximum audience capacity of 120. This venue complements the historic Empire Church Theatre, which was constructed in 1877 and now showcases a diverse range of performances such as cabaret, comedy, fine music, and jazz. Furthermore, the Empire Church Theatre is a highly sought-after location for weddings, receptions, and private functions.

The Armitage Centre, a one-of-a-kind performance space and function venue, has recently been added to the Empire Theatre precinct. Equipped with top-notch facilities such as advanced technical equipment, retractable tiered seating, and a charming forecourt, the centre can accommodate up to 350 people. Additionally, it boasts an impressive foyer and bar spaces.
